The Background

My story

Hi, my name is Dalina Marlett. Founder & owner of Branch & Bloom, San Diego. 

Let me tell you about my journey & how I created this little piece of therapeutic heaven.  This business was literally started from scratch.  In 2019, I left my career in the wine & spirits industry searching for a way to be more present and to simply enjoy life without stress.  During this time, I had to navigate through many life challenges.  Everyday I would ask myself… What do I love? What am I good at? What are my hobbies?  I didn’t have an answer to any of those questions for many years.  I had given every single drop of energy into my career that I forgot about who “Dalina” was?!  Growing up, I always loved crafting & design but somehow lost the desire to do those things. As a mother of two, I am just focused on keeping my kids alive!  Survival mode is all I know.  Finally in October of 2023, I had found my calling! It just clicked...  As a one income family, I was always budgeting but loved gift giving. It just made sense to create things because then I could put all my love & effort into every single thing I chose to give. It all started with eucalyptus shower bouquets then that led to fresh & dried floral arrangements. Friends and family started ordering!  One arrangement lead to many… I honestly could not keep up!  So here we are today, Branch & Bloom for all your gift giving needs. It’s truly going to be a learning journey for me, so please bear with me as I make mistakes & learn how to spread love and happiness one arrangement at a time.
